Exam Pattern and Syllabus Structure For NDA 2025
The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is one of the most coveted routes for aspirants to enter the Indian Armed Forces. The NDA 2025 Exam Pattern has laid out a format with two different papers Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks). Each paper of 2.5 hours duration (Total- 5 hours)
The Mathematics paper focuses on various areas such as Algebra, Calculus, Matrices, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics & Probability, etc. General Ability Test (GAT) section tests candidates on subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, Geography, and Current Affairs. 200 marks are for the Section English only and General Knowledge section are 400 marks.
Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the SSB (Service Selection Board) interview whose total marks are 900. SSB process consists of Officer Intelligence Rating tests, Picture Perception Description Test, group tasks, psychology tests and a conference, testing the overall aptness of the candidates in Indian Armed Forces.
